Created for a San Francisco civic celebration honoring the 100th anniversary of San Francisco’s City Hall, this illuminated wearable sculpture reimagined City Hall as a piece of living architecture. I designed and fabricated the replica while collaborating with another artist who created the glowing dress beneath it. Attached to the piece are colored lights to match the colorful lights added the San Francisco’s City Hall. Displayed on the steps of the real San Francisco City Hall, the installation attracted hundreds of people eager to photograph and interact with the piece. Seeing visitors from around the world connect with the artwork through curiosity, conversation, and shared celebration reinforced my passion for creating immersive public experiences.
