Body painting transforms the human body into a living canvas for storytelling. Having created several belly painting portraits over the years, I’m always honored to capture such an intimate milestone. This Where the Wild Things Are portrait celebrated the upcoming arrival of my close friend’s son, Max, preserving a fleeting moment through illustration, collaboration, and photography.

Celebrating San Francisco’s City Hall: A 100-Year Heritage

Created for the San Francisco City Hall Centennial: 100 Years of SF Music, this wearable illuminated sculpture transformed architecture into performance art. In collaboration with a costume designer, the project blurred the line between sculpture, fashion, and public installation, encouraging thousands of attendees to engage directly with the artwork in front of the historic building it celebrated.
